Tropimango

Tropimango is a 70% indica cannabis strain that is a cross of Big Skunk Korean with Jack Herer. It grows with large, luxuriant , dark green leaves that are hungry for nutrients. It is an ideal strain to grow in a Sea of Green system. THC content is rated at 18%. Philosopher Seeds recommends growing Tropimango indoors at a density of 12 plants per square meter with a vegetative growth period of 3 weeks for optimum harvests. In common with many hybrid strains it performs less well with high temperatures and for this reason the grow room should be kept below 28 - 30 °C. When this advice is observed buds will gain a high density and be covered with a layer of white crystals. Indoors the the plants can be harvested at between 55 - 65 days although if a more sedative effect is sought then the plants should be left for 70 days as this will greatly increase the CBD content. Yields indoors are in the region of 500 - 550 gr/m2. When grown outdoors yields can be spectacular reaching as high as 1800 gr/plant dried weight. Harvest will be in early October or early April dependent on the hemisphere in which they are grown. Watch out for wet or humid conditions because this can cause mould problems with the tight buds. Tropimango is aptly named as its aroma and taste is of tropical fruits with an emphasis on mango which persists on the palate. Those whose preference is for vaporising will be subject to a terpene extravaganza. Its effect is very relaxing but not couch-lock or demotivating. Its high THC and CBD content make this strain therapeutically useful for stress relief.
