Strawberry Kush

Strawberry Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid from the Hindu Kush mountains which has a dash of Haze genetics. There is a degree of pheno-typical variation which is expressed in the length of flowering as well as the height of the plants. Very large yields are possible, especially with a some growing experience. Indoors these plants take 7 - 10 weeks to flower depending on pheno-type. Plants can stretch up to three times their height gained during vegetative growth when put into flowering which refllects the sativa genetic contribution. They are highly adaptabe to SCRoG grow systems while cuttings can be grown in a SoG set-up. Lollipopping is also a successful method for taller phenos - lower branches are removed to focus development on the higher branches and buds, and these higher branches become less lateral and more vertical in growth which can merge buds together creating huge, dense colas although some care will need to be taken with airflow in more humid conditions. Carbon filters are recommended indoors due to the pervading scent during flowering. Outdoors or in a greenhouse their height gain and scent is more easily managed. Some phenos display pink pistils which turn a dark red towards maturity. Dried buds exude a deliciously tempting strawberry scent and this follows through onto the palate. This is a highly potent, resinous strain which produces a powerfully relaxing indica effect enhanceded by a joyful sativa lift.
