Skunk 47

Skunk 47 is a combination of Skunk #1, the world's first true-breeding hybrid cannabis strain comprising Afghan, Mexican and Colombian genetics, and the fast-flowering, fruity-flavoured, sativa-dominant AK47. With this strain a selection was made which emphasised the indica qualities and which resulted in this plant being 90% indica. It is a very bushy, vigorous hybrid strain with very good yields of dense, compact buds having a pronounced Skunk flavour and perfume. Skunk 47 can be grown both indoors and outdoors producing good yields wherever it's planted. Growers can expect between 400 - 500 gr/m2 indoors and 400 - 600 gr. per plant outdoors when planted in the ground. Flowering takes between 55 and 60 days and it will be ready for harvest in October outdoors. With a skunky/citrus flavour and a rather narcotic effect it is a hardy plant that will resist pests and mould and it has quite a good drought tolerance. Its THC level of 20% makes it a potent plant that is recommended for medicinal applications including pain relief and insomnia.
