Royal Purple Kush x SCBDX Feminised is an excellent example of a mostly indica strain that has been crossed with the all-conquering SCBDx plant. Royal Purple Kush itself is a genetic mix of a Black Afghani female which was pollinated by a Bubba Kush male. The resultant flavour is complex and rather ethereal; it has to be tasted to be believed. Royal Purple Kush is extremely vigorous during the vegetative growth phase, a trait which is retained in this high-CBD cross. Unlike many hybrid strains it does not stretch more than 15 - 35% after the switch to flowering which means that it can be vegged longer in order to obtain good-sized plants which will ultimately result in bigger yields. This facet is enhanced by the large, dense colas that it produces. Royal Purple Kush x SCBDX is 70% sativa, 30% indica and grows well in all environments. Indoor flowering times are between 60 - 65 days. Its aromas are of citrus, fruit and pine whilst the flavours are citrus and pine with pepper notes. The high-CBD levels make it an interesting medicinal strain.
