Royal AK

Royal AK is Royal Queen's version of AK 47, a 60% sativa strain that is simplicity itself to cultivate. The genetic composition of Royal AK is Colombian, Mexican, Thai & Afghani strains. It demonstrates great hybrid vigour and is a very stable strain that performs exceptionally well time after time. Really the only downside to this stain is its very heavy aroma of over-ripe melons during flowering. It is really pervasive and care will need to be taken if growing in close proximity to neighbours. Indoors it is recommended to employ carbon filters to clear the air. Outdoors it is advised not to grow too close to other gardens. Plants grown indoors will reach a height in the range 80 - 140 cm depending on conditions, pot size (if grown in soil) and the length of the vegetative period. Indoor yields will fall in the range 525 - 575 gr/m2 under 600 watt grow lights. Cultivated outdoors plants will grow taller reaching between 130 - 170 cm. tall. Yields will be approximately 600 - 650 gr/plant. Indoors flowering will take 8 - 9 weeks; outdoor plants will be ready to harvest during early October in the northern hemisphere. The buds are very solid, especially so considering that this strain is just 40% indica, and with few extraneous leaves manicuring is a breeze. The buds themselves are quite dark and are flecked with tawny red hairs. Dried the buds exude a sugary sweet aroma with some notes of musk and pine. THC levels are high at 19% with low CBD being recorded. The effect is a very nice combination of mental and physical attributes providing mental stimulation alongside physical relaxation although never becoming too heavy to move. It will leave smokers feeling happy, relaxed and uplifted. It is therapeutically useful for cases of stress and depression.
