Over Dawg

Over Dog is a 60% sativa plant that was bred from two well-known U.S. strains, namely OG Kush and Sour Diesel. This is a sturdy plant which likes to have space to spread out, hence the advice from Medical Seeds that no more than 16 plants/m2 are grown. Very good yields and high THC, the latter making it a plant that novice smokers should be wary of. Its dense and multi-branched structure make this medium-sized plant sturdy and well able to bear the weight of its dense buds. Indoors it has a flowering period of about 9 weeks at the end of which yields of 550 gr/m2 or more are quite possible. When cultivated outdoors it resembles a shrub, reaching up to 1200 cm. tall, and its many shade leaves may need to be removed in order to allow light penetration to the interior bud sites. Harvest in the northern hemisphere is either in late September or the very beginning of October and yields can be in excess of 1000 gr/plant. Both the perfume and taste of Over Dog is somewhat citric with both grapefruit and passion fruit along with notes of damp earth. THC production is very good at 20% with very low CBD which results in a cannabis strain with a very psychoactive high. For this reason it is not recommended for either those unused to strong cannabis or in situations where concentration is needed. However for those of a disposition to benefit from this potent strain it has a supremely relaxing mind and body effect ideal for those meditative moments. Therapeutically it is beneficial for patients with a range of muscle aches and pains.
