Northern

Northern is thought to be Northern Lights #5. It was created by crossing a specially selected land-race indica strain with a Thai sativa in the north-west U.S. city of Seattle more than 25 years ago. It has a very distinctive taste of vanilla and spice which will delight the first-time consumer and an attractive perfume that is sweet and somewhat floral. It grows in a Christmas tree-like pattern with a commanding central stem and many, but much less developed, side branches lower down on the plant. Its leaves are few and far between making trimming a breeze. This single cola structure means that Northern is an ideal marijuana strain to grow in a Sea of Green set-up with between 20 - 25 plants per m2. It has been used to breed many of today's cannabis hybrids but this pure version retains its "old-skool" flavour. Flowering is quick at between 7 to 8 weeks; outdoors it will be ready during the month of September. It has a nice, stony, well-balanced effect.
