New York 47

New York 47 marries two very successful hybrid marijuana strains, namely New York City Diesel and AK47. With 60% sativa genetics this plant has a vigorous growth pattern whose height needs to be controlled indoors; it is a very good strain for SCROG systems producing many buds with medium density and covered in large trichome glands. The flowers have an enticing aroma of citrus and grapefruit with a background of ripe fruit. When bruised/crushed a more chemical odour is released. Yields are good, ranging from 450 - 500 gr/m2 indoors up to 800 gr per plant when sown outdoors in the ground. Its flowering time is between 60 and 70 days indoors, plants are ready outdoors during early October. It has a very strong resistance to mould and good resistance to pests and drought conditions. Odour control is recommended as the perfume is rather pervasive. The effect is quite euphoric and energetic initially being conducive to reading, walking and other activities; with time and/or increased dosage this can become more physical and relaxing. With a THC content of 20% New York 47 is recommended for a wide range of medicinal applications.
