Based on a vigorous, resistant hemp variety, Morning Star CBD has taken a period of 5 years to perfect. After crossing two pheno-types, a four year period of selection, based on growing 1000 plants per crop, was embarked upon before the best plants were selected. The selected strain was then crossed back twice before finally undergoing further hybridisation with the very best of these special selections. In order to guarantee that no cross-pollination occurred plants were pollinated by hand under special climate-controlled conditions. To further ensure that the ratio of feminised seeds is up to spec.10,0 00 seeds of each batch are grown out and flowered guaranteeing the grower the highest standards possible. The result of this lengthy and arduous pheno-typical selection is a vigorous, stable strain resistant not only to pathogens and pests but also one which thrives is cool and windy conditions resulting in plants with an even, and easily-harvested, canopy. Plants develop dark green, 5 - 7 bladed leaves and a Christmas tree structure with prodigious branching upon which tight inter-nodes grow dense buds. In excellent conditions these plants have the potential to produce 5 kg. dried weight of buds each! The dense, hard buds have a zingy citrus scent and are reminiscent of indoor-grown crops such is their very high quality.
