Medizinal CBD

Medizinal CBD is a therapeutic cannabis strain ideal for patients who don't want the psychoactive high associated with THC. A selection of different plants, all with low THC and high CBD production, were bred to create this plant with a 15:1 CBD:THC ratio. Although this is an indica-dominant strain this medium-large plant grows narrow-bladed leaves on its many branches. It is very simple to grow and does not need much fertiliser at all, it will thrive unless it's over-fed. Indoors flowering takes roughly 60 days with yields around 550 gr/m2. Buds are large and exude a sweet, fruity, orange scent and flavour. CBD production is high at around 15% with just 1% THC. No psychoactive effects are produced but it is very physically relaxing and is useful as a muscle relaxant after physical activities such as sports. Its high CBD concentration makes it eminently suitable for producing a range of medicinal preparations such as topical creams, oils and extractions.
