Mataro Blue

Mataro Blue has become an established strain since it originated in Spain. It is profoundly indica-dominant being a cross of Black Domina, Mazar-I-Sharif and Blue Monster making it 75% indica and 25% sativa. This marijuana strain is a good yielder and finishes in 8 to 9 weeks of flowering indoors but it can also be grown very successfully outdoors as well. As its name suggests it develops a nice blue colour as it approaches maturity. The resin production of Mataro Blue is impressive starting as soon as the plant has become established; at maturity the trichomes ooze thickly with what appears to be like caramel. This resin produces a white/golden sheen and the smell is incredibly pungent. The effect attacks quite quickly before evolving into a deep and relaxing high.
