Master Kush

Master Kush is a cross of Hindu Kush and Skunk #1. It was originally named High Rise after the blocks of apartments in the Bijlmermeer concrete jungle 20 minutes south of the urban centre of Amsterdam where it was developed. It is a tetraploid marijuana strain having four times the usual number of chromosomes. Master Kush made such a splash on the Amsterdam coffee-shop scene that it was subsequently stabilised and sold as a new seed strain. It is a medium-sized plant that flowers in 7 - 9 weeks making it suitable for outdoor, greenhouse as well as indoor cultivation. It is a good cropper yielding between 400 - 500 gr/m2 indoors. It thrives in all grow-media. Buds are very dense and so care must be taken during the final stages of flowering to ensure that they remain mould-free. The aroma is earthy and mossy and it has a sweet, earthy pungent flavour which smokes very smoothly. THC levels are high along with medium CBD. Its effect is euphoric, uplifting and ultimately pleasantly relaxing. Therapeutically it is recommended for treating stress, depression and also for pain relief.
