Kinkanna

Kinkanna is a compact, 60% indica strain that is the product of a happy union between OG Kush and DNA Genetics' Tangie. True to its Californian roots it just loves growing outdoors in the sunshine but is also a successful indoor strain too. This strain gets its name from "Kinkan", the Japanese name for kumquats which it resembles in terms of both its aroma and flavour. It is a highly robust strain that has a pine tree-like structure and which produces good yields even though it only grows to 80 - 100 cm. tall. Indoors growers should crop 400 - 450 gr/m2 in 8 weeks of flowering. Outdoors between 500 - 550 gr/m2 will be produced for October harvests in the northern hemisphere. Kinkanna's aroma is both sweet and spicy and leads into the kumquat taste which has earthy background notes. THC production is 13.1% with low CBD of 0.1%. The effect is very euphoric and is a happiness-inducing strain par excellence. As a consequence of this it is perhaps no surprise at all that its therapeutic applications include lifting depression and dissolving stress.
