Kali Dog

Kali Dog originated in the USA around 20 years ago and was bred from ChemDog and Sour Diesel. It is 40% sativa and 60% indica, the latter traits displayed in its heavy-hitting, dense buds with strong aromas of Skunk. Kali Dog exhibits very dense branching and foliage producing good yields into the bargain and it is a heavy feeder taking up just about all the nutrients and booster products the grower can provide id light levels are sufficiently high. Indoors these plants grow to be between 90 - 160 cm. tall yielding 450 - 500 gr/m2 in a flowering time of 9 - 10 weeks under 600 watt grow-lights. Those without much headroom should only veg. for a short time as these plants can stretch quite a bit. It will also grow outdoors in mild climates and so is suitable for regions that stay mild and relatively dry until the end of October or the beginning of November in the northern hemisphere. In this environment plants will grow markedly taller reaching height of 200 cm. or possible a bit more. Yields can be in excess of 500 gr/plant. It is recommended that humidity levels should be kept as low as is practicable as its very great bud density can lead to issues with mould and powdery mildew. It is also likely to need some form of support for the buds as their weight could lead to branches snapping if left to themselves. With powerful Skunk odours and a very strong lemon and fuel taste Kali Dog is a full-on strain. THC production is 18% with low CBD levels. The effect is very heavy-hitting but with an uplifting, cerebral quality which is ultimately very relaxing. Therapeutic uses include for lack of appetite and stress.
