K2

K2 is a 'white' strain that was bred by crossing a Hindu Kush land-race with Nirvana's White Widow breeding male. K2 plants are resistant and produce large amounts of resin. K2's slight indica-dominance results in plants that have dark green foliage, are quite compact and which do not undergo a vast amount of stretch once in flowering. Indoors the best technique to maximise yields is a Sea of Green approach, good for commercial grows. In an 8 - 9 week flowering time yields of between 400 - 500 gr/m2 can be obtained. Buds are compact and white with resin - great for making extracts and concentrates with. Scents and flavours are both sweet and savoury with notes of pine and spice including pepper. The range of THC production is between 18 - 25% with CBD of less than 1%. Overall the effect is balanced between indica and sativa properties with feelings of euphoria, happiness and relaxation.
