Guawi

Description

Guawi is back! This latest version was bred by crossing an Old Malawi Killer with an extremely fruity, incense-scented Tikal F5. The resulting plant is a highly vigorous 85% sativa F1 hybrid representing first class African and Central American sativa genetics. High to very high levels of THC are complemented by a superb terpene profile and high yields. Adding Tikal F5 genetics to the Malawi gave a more compact plant profile and shorter flowering times. As you would expect from tropical genetics, Guawi has very high resistance to heat as well as medium to high resistance against the cold, botrytis, white fly and spider mites. Indoor flowering times are 11 - 12 weeks. In this environment growers should ensure that plants receive high light intensity and lots of space unless grown in a SoG - this can be a great success due to the plants' strong central colas SCRoG also works very well for those with plenty of room and this will serve to increase yields. Outdoors Guawi will grow well between 0° - 43° N or S and will mature where autumnal weather is warm or mild at least. In the northern hemisphere havrest will be from the 3rd. week in October through till early November. Des[pite the addition of Tikal genetics this strain can still grow into pretty large plants and yields will almost certainly be very big. Plants can get very hungry during flowering so nutrient levels should be increased from the vegetative stage. Guawi's scent is initially spicy and woody with fruity mango, peach, strawberry and incense terpenes from the Tikal and with a deep resinous, oily background note. THC production falls between 17 - 23% with just 0.2% CBD and between 0.6 - 2% CBG (cannabigerol). Its effect is very potent giving an almost overwhelming sativa high, soaring and psychedelic and not recommended for the novice smoker at all! For the experienced it will be uplifting, joyous, happy and very long-lasting.
