Golden Tiger x Panama

Golden Tiger x Panama is a pure sativa hybrid strain bred by crossing the Panama Goddess with a specially selected Golden Tiger female plant. The latter plant adds high yield potential, fast-flowering and a very trippy effect. Golden Tiger x Panama just about has it all; great yields, very high THC content, very high resistance against botrytis, highly resistant against heat and average to high resistance to the cold and to powdery mildew, as well as to spider mites and white fly. As a pure sativa plant it can thrive indoors but will need high light levels as well as a short period of vegetative growth, 15 days for seedlings and 7 days for cuttings/clones, to prevent it getting too unwieldy for indoor cultivation. 11 hours of light followed by 13 hours darkness will help to control stretch and to consolidate the flowering. Due to its structure it is versatile amenable to both SoG and SCRog grow systems. Flowering indoors lasts for 11 - 12 weeks. Outdoors cultivation is most suited to both tropical and sub-tropical climate zones although it also does well in warm, coastal regions, such as that of the Mediterranean, up to latitude 43° north or south. Switching from moderate to high nutrients from mid-flowering will serve to increase yields as will the extensive re-flowering that these pure sativa plants undergo. The colas are very long and broad with an excellent flower to leaf ratio. It has the scent of rotten organic matter with notes of lemon and incense, quite complex. THC levels are very high at between 21 - 26% and 0.2% CBD. The effect is psychedelic/trippy, complex, speedy and potent. It has a profound cerebral and physical presence which is long-lasting.
