Girl Scout Cookies was originally a hybrid cross between Durban Poison and OG Kush. This version from Lineage Genetics is produced by crossing a Girl Scout Cookies with a special Girl Scout Cookies Platinum Cut giving a premium example of this much lauded cannabis strain. This plant is 60% sativa 40% indica with the indica genetic component ensuring that its buds have a good density along with superior resin production. It is a very high-yielding strain which can deliver the goods to the tune of 700 gr/m2 or even more in 9 - 10 weeks of flowering indoors. It can also be grown successfully outdoors although its northern latitude harvest month of October means that it is not suited to cool climate cultivation performing much better in Meditteranean-type climates where each plant can produce in excess of 800 gr. Girl Scout Cookies is a highly colourful strain whose light green calyxes are swathed in purple leaves and high-lighted by orange pistils and covered with a sheen of white resin-exuding trichomes. Its aroma is of sweet citrus underlain by a deep, earthy muskiness while it has a flavour that is sweet and herbal. THC production is 20% or higher with CBD of 0.18%. The effect that this strain produces is is that of an intense cerebral high accompanied by a very soothing, physically relaxing body stone.
