Desert Diesel came into existence as the product of crossing an Amherst Sour Diesel with an Emerald Mountain DAD (Diesel Afghan Diesel). Desert Diesel is a slender sativa-dominant (55%) marijuana strain that grows with an open structure. It puts on a colourful display where there is a significant night-time fall in temperature. This is a plant for all growing environments and, if grown indoors, it should be vegged. for a limited period as it can stretch quite a bit once flowering has been initiated. Its buds are dense and very resinous and anyone who is a fan of Diesel will love Desert Diesel. Grown indoors this strain will produce yields in the region of 340 - 525 gr/m2 in 65 - 75 days flowering. The exact yield and length of flowering will depend on local conditions and growers' expertise. The aroma and flavour of Desert Diesel are very complex and includes sweet fruit, sandalwood, oil and, of course, Diesel. THC production is 17% - 20% with low CBD of 0.1%. The effect is typically sativa, powerful, long-lasting giving feelings of euphoria with great clarity.
