Critical

Critical is a strongly indica-dominant cannabis strain that was bred by crossing Critical Mass with a Brazilian and a South Indian strain. It grows into a large, multi-branched plant with good yields indoors and even better harvests when cutivated outdoors. Critical is a very versatile plant that thrives in all substrates (grow-media) and in all different kinds of systems whether Sea of Green, Screen of Green or simply super-cropping. It has a familiar Christmas tree structure and is not adversely affected by pruning the lower branches in order to grow a large number of plants in a small space. If growing indoors it is recommended to only veg. for 10 days as it is a fast growing plant which will undergo a considerable stretch which might be an issue in smaller grow-spaces. It will probably be necessary to use some form of support for the branches in the latter stages of flowering due to the weight of the buds preventing them from snapping. Indoor plants will stretch almost 200% (almost trebling in height) and will probably finish at something like 60 - 90 cm. tall depending on initial vegetative growth. Although quite resilient in the face of low temperatures this is a strain that doesn't like things to get too hot so adequate ventilation is a must to lower temperatures. In terms of nutrients it does not have a particularly large appetite but it is very resistant to mould. Indoor harvests are good at between 350 - 450 gr/m2 with the dried buds being rock hard. Flowering takes 7 - 8 weeks to complete. When grown outdoors Critical will be ready to harvest by the end of September or early October in northern latitudes although it doesn't fare well when the night-time temperatures drop too low. For this reason it is not recommended for cultivation at high latitudes outdoors preferring a continental or Mediterranean climate. Plants can grow to a height of around 300 cm. and will provide generous harvests. The aroma and flavour is very sweet, with bubblegum and citrus notes. THC production is high at 16% and the effect is nicely balanced between the head and the body providing both mental as well as physical relaxation.
