Chocolope Kush

Chocolope Kush has seriously good ancestry being a hybrid cross of DNA Genetics' award-winning sativa Chocolope and the indica-dominant Kosher Kush. The latter was acclaimed as the 7th strongest strain in the world by no less an authority than High Times magazine. Chocolope Kush is 60% sativa and displays a lot of stretch during flowering. For this reason it is highly recommended to veg. for only a short time and/or make sure that there is plenty of headroom to accommodate this. It is a vigorous plant in growth and produces many side-branches so that they need plenty of room between each plant. Support for the branches will be necessary, at least towards the end of flowering as the buds gain in weight. Chocolope Kush has a good resistance to mould and temperature fluctuations and is quite a robust strain to cultivate - even beginners can obtain a good crop. In 9 weeks of flowering yields should be in the region of 500 - 600 gr/m2. Its buds are dense and dark with a covering of white THC-bearing crystals. The aroma combines vanilla and chocolate adding a deep Kush note. The effect is cerebral but with a heaviness to it that makes it a very relaxing proposition.
