Buttercream Gelato

Buttercream Gelato is an indica-dominant cross of Gelato, Hindu Kush and the renowned Sensi Seeds' sativa strain Durban. Most plants will grow quite tall and produce very large yields. Indoors Buttercream Gelato takes between 55 - 75 days to complete its flowering cycle, dependant upon the exact pheno-type. This is a relatively low-odour strain whose scent of subtle citrus with notes of sandalwood, mint and vanilla is quite discreet. Its strong, lateral branches become heavy with long, maturing colas and, despite their height, plants maintain an indica structure. Both SCRoG and super-cropping techniques are said to be beneficial to improve results. Outdoors this strain requires a long, warm summer such as that found in Mediterranean climate regions. Sweet, fruity dessert-like flavours engage the palate, full and rich with a creamy, fruity aftertaste. The effect is a fast, relaxing body high with an uplifting and talkative sativa note.
