Bubba 76

Bubba 76 was bred from two strains which were originally created more than 20 years apart, viz. a 1976 Afghan and a pre-98 Bubba Kush making Bubba 76 90% indica and 10% sativa. It is a short, stocky plant which produces a medium to high yield of rock hard buds throughout the plant even on lower, interior bud-sites. The yield can be increased further by tying down the branches creating more perpendicular colas. As these colas increase in density nearing maturity the canopy requires a very good flow of air to prevent mould problems. Although an F1 there is a noteworthy consistency across pheno-types with just a slight variation in flavour which ranges from the very sweet berry-like taste of the Afghan expression to the earthy/pepper flavour of the pre-98 Bubba Kush. It smokes very softly and smoothly on the throat with a happy, clear effect which evolves into a very comfortable, relaxed feeling. Expect flowering to take 7 - 8 weeks indoors; outdoors it should be ready by the end of September. This strain is recommended for pain relief and insomnia.
