The original Amnesia Haze was bred by an outfit called Hy-Pro Seeds in the Netherlands during the 1990s. It is also known by the names Champagne Haze, Ultra Haze and The Bomb which all convey something of the reputation of this superb weed. Crossing Amnesia Haze with automatic ruderalis genetics has drastically reduced the flowering time which can be anything between 12 and 20 weeks with the original, depending on pheno-type. Now growers can experience the same spicy/sweet Haze flavour and the psychedelic, euphoric high in a total grow time of just 11 - 12 weeks, an incredible improvement that makes this strain viable for just about everyone, especially indoors. Amnesia Haze Automatic is still quite a compact plant in spite of its 50% sativa genetics, the remainder being 20% indica and 30% ruderalis. It will stay withing the range of 50 - 100 cm indoors. Indoor yields will be 350 - 400 gr/m2. Although it has a good appetite for nutrients care should be taken not to over-feed as Amnesia haze Auto can be rather sensitive in such cases. In a mini mirror-image of its photo-period original the auto-flowering version grows long colas resembling fox-tails. These buds have that sweet, spicy scent associated with Haze strains with a little background muskiness present. The flavours are very similar and familiar to Haze adherents. THC production is high at an impressive 18% with medium levels of CBD. The effect is an uplifting cerebral feeling with a positive vibe.
