Alpujarrena

Alpujarreña is a strain originating in the mountains of Granada, Spain although its name is Andalucian. It has been refined over a long period of time and is well-acclimatised to local conditions where it grows very well up to an altitude of 1,000 meters (3,280 ft.). Alpujarreña is a 90% indica strain with a short flowering time and a short stature growing to a height of 40 - 100 cm. indoors or up to 200 cm. if planted outdoors directly in the ground. If cultivated indoors grower can expect to harvest between 550 - 600 gr/m2 in just 49 - 56 days of flowering under 600 watt lights. Outdoors harvest will be in early September in northern latitudes yielding between 300 - 1000 gr/plant. In spite of its hardiness and early maturation THC production is still a very creditable 17.5% along with CBD of 1%. The palate of this strain is very pleasant and the effect is nicely relaxing. Good to enjoy after a day's work to melt away any aches and pains and forget your troubles.
