AK48

AK48 is an indica-sativa hybrid cannabis strain that contains the genetics from the following strains: Colombian Gold, Thai, Mexican and Afghani. Since the mid-1990s it has attracted a large army of fans due to its speed of flowering, its quality and effect. AK48 is a very easy-to-grow marijuana strain that can finish flowering in 48 days. If harvested at this point the effect will be more of an uplifting sativa high. Leaving it another week or two until half of the trichomes have turned amber will produce a heavier, indica stone. It is suitable for indoor cultivation in northern Europe, reaching a medium height, and the grow room can emanate a rich, deep aroma of ripe tropical fruit so it might be a good idea to use some form of air-filter if growing close to neighbours. Using a Sea of Green (SoG) set-up will produce yields of hard buds in the region of 400 - 500 gr/m2. It has high levels of THC and medium levels of CBD. With its sweet flavour and uplifting, euphoric high (unless left to produce a heavier hit) AK48 is a very good choice with which to relieve stress as it is nicely relaxing and comforting while lifting mood.
