AK - 020

AK-020 is a specially-selected AK that was developed in Amsterdam and whose name reflects that city's area code number. Amsterdam Genetics claim that their version produces a better-balanced effect than the original. It is a 50/50 indica/sativa blend. AK-020 comprises the cannabis genetics of Colombian, Mexican and Afghani strains. It has long been a commercial growers' favourite as it produces consistently good yields from a stable weed variety. Grown indoors plants will typically grow to a height of between 120 - 150 cm. tall yielding 500 - 600 gr/m2 in a 8 - 9 week flowering period. This is a strong-smelling strain and one for which we would strongly recommend air-filtering with carbon filters if the neighbours' interest is not to be piqued. The aroma of AK-020 is rather sour with earthy undertones; the flavour is sweet, spicy and very pungent with the perfume of over-ripe fruit. Floral notes are apparent on the exhale when smoked/vaped. THC levels are very good at 20% with other cannabinoids measured at 0.3% CBD, 0.08% CBN, 0.06% THCV and 0.8% CBG. The effects are happy, euphoric, uplifting and, ultimately, incredibly relaxing and quite possibly unleashing some cretive thoughts. In terms of therapeutic applications stress and depression are likely to be considerably alleviated while its uplifting effect will also make pain seem less troublesome. Feelings of nausea and lack of appetite are also likely to be improved.
