Afghan Skunk

Afghan Skunk Auto is the auto-flowering version of Advanced Seeds' Afghan Skunk. Adding ruderalis genetics produces a plant with a short life-cycle and one which will flower irrespective of whether it receives 12, 18 or even 24 hours of light per day. The original Afghan Skunk brought the pure indica hit of the Afghani plant combined with the more sativa-leaning effect of Skunk. This strain was 70% indica and 30% sativa. The addition of the ruderalis genes has brought the duration of the life-cycle down to between 9 - 10 weeks and produced shorter plants whose energies go into bud and resin formation sooner than with photo-period strains. It is a robust plant that has good resistance to both plant pests and mould infestations. When cultivated indoors these plants will grow to 75 - 100 cm. tall. It performs very well in all kinds of substrate and grow-media. Yields are good and indoor growers can harvest between 400 - 500 gr/m2 under 600 watt lighting. Resin production is very high producing an aroma that is likened to the sweet smell of hashish. The taste has undertones of berries and other fruit making this a truly delicious strain. Its THC level has been measured at 15% giving a relaxed, lazy feeling but one which elevates mood. It has also been known to relieve stress, anxiety and to stimulate the appetite.
