Afghan Kush
Afghan Kush is a pure indica strain that was sourced from the valley of the Armu Darya river on the border between Tajikistan and Ukbekistan in the Hindu Kush mountains. Its stability is the result of many generations of local wild strains cross-breeding. Afghan Kush will grow well indoors as well as outdoors; indoors flowering is very fast at 45 - 55 days with yields in the region of 450 gr/m2. Outdoors harvests will be in late September or very early October in northern latitudes and yielding 500 - 600 gr/plant. One great advantage of this strain is its very high resistance to pests and mould and also its very high tolerance of drought conditions. A possible disadvantage for outdoor growers is its smelly odour which could be a problem if growing close to neighbours indoors and so it is highly recommended to use an air-filtration system of some sort. This compact, robust and hardy plant has a taste of noble woods and with a THC level of 21.6% it has a very powerful, long-lasting narcotic effect. It is a therapeutically useful strain which can help with symptoms of insomnia, stress and for pain relief too.
