A-K

A-K is a well-known and much-loved cannabis strain that has attracted many fans since its award for Best Sativa at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1999 amongst others. It is one of CBD Seeds' Classic Collection. Many new strains have been developed and launched since then but A-K continues to please. It was originally bred from autochtonous (indigenous) plants hailing from 4 different countries viz. Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Afghanistan. Special attention was paid to the programme of stabilisation which was guaranteed success as a result of back-crossing for several generations with the original parent strains. This sativa-dominant plant is not difficult to grow and delivers a good harvest both indoors and outdoors finishing with a gleaming coat of resin-bearing trichomes in just 60 days of flowering indoors, or during October outdoors. With high yields, a sweet taste and flavours of citrus it produces a strong and long-lasting "up" high which is very sociable it's no wonder that A-K continues to be so popular.
