Super Malawi Haze

Super Malawi Haze is a 90% sativa strain that was bred by combining the genetics of the very best Nevil's Haze mother plants with selected Malawi Killer pheno-types. The resultant hybrid is incredibly vigorous, resinous and its colas have a much greater density than is typical of Haze strains. Super Malawi Haze is a poly-hybrid which throws up 3 main pheno-types. The Nevil's Haze and Malawi phenos are more prevalent with the pure Haze pheno the least frequently occurring. Whilst the first two will finish in 85 - 90 days of flowering the third type will undoubtedly take longer, anywhere from 90 up to 120 days. This hybridisation has resulted in plants that are altogether more suited to indoor cultivation than was the case with the original Nevil's Haze. Outdoors harvest will not be ready until November/early December in the northern hemisphere and for this reason it is only suited to warm/hot climates where the weather can be guaranteed to be free from rain at that time of year. Its limit of cultivability is from 0° to 43° latitude. Resistance to both botrytis and heat is high while cold is also tolerated. It's a plant that can grow very tall and, with its multiple branches, needs plenty of space to spread its wings. Indoors it needs high light levels and a nutrient-rich feeding regime. In this environment it also does rather better with 11 hours of light and 13 of dark during flowering. SCRoG will help to control its spread and will also encourage the vertical growth of what would otherwise be smaller colas. Yields are very high. In terms of its scent and taste it has floral and sweet touches with the woody incense of pure Haze along with the deeper Malawi notes of resin and fermentation. Levels of THC vary between 23% - 28% while CBD is very low at less than 0.15%. Its effect is very potent with a surge of creative, cerebral energy which is also suitable for physical exertions as well as more meditative pursuits.
