    Early Vegetation (Day 9 / 14)

Grobo staff has given a check up and said we are looking good but to keep an eye on new growth. The first set of true leaves will die anyway and levels seem right in reservoir, roots are healthy

    Early Vegetation (Day 7 / 14)

Spots have gotten bright orange and perhaps on other leaves. Could be nutrient lock could be a disease/fungus. Put in a support ticket. Also checked humidity and ph. Humidity around 22% pH around 6.4

    Early Vegetation (Day 6 / 14)

Few brown spots on one leaf. I'm monitoring it, as none appear on new growth and just did a water change.

    Early Vegetation (Day 3 / 14)

No new updates or maintenance notices from grobo for a while now.. this shots were taken in the dark with pixel 4xl night shot. In other words this is in the dark even though it doesn't appear to be.

    Germination (Day 5 / 10)

Researched the HTTP requests being made by the Grobo app and found a way to change the lights in my timelapse script. Currently, I have it taking a pic twice an hour and turning on the "liquid glass" on and off, before and after. This will make for better pictures and is an ok solution for now since I'm growing an auto flower but when I do another grow that is not an auto I won't want the lights going on during the "night" cycle. In that case I will probably revert to not messing with the lights and having the script look at the file size of the pic just taken and if it small enough to indicate it is a dark image, just remove it. In regards to our baby, I can see a small hint of green just below the surface, so any day now. :)

    Germination (Day 4 / 10)

I got my first notification that my seed was thirsty. Sure enough, the water level had gone down maybe 1/2 an inch. Filled and also lifted the cocoa pod "cap" that I had placed over my seed to see if we had any progress. Indeed the seed has cracked and a strong white seedling is emerging. Placed cap back on to keep her moist and protected.

    Germination (Day 2 / 10)

Captains Log, Nothing much to report. ordered a couple of air pumps to try and find a quieter solution to the one that came with the grobo. I used some dynamat to insulate some of the sound but minimal results. I also adjusted the camera a wee bit.

    Germination (Day 1 / 10)

First grow.. went with an auto-flower for speed and yield and because it was free. Installed a pi cam for taking stills, doing live streaming, and programmed it to take a snapshot once an hour for timelapse.
